Gateway's FPD2185W or Dell's 2405/7FPW? - 2006/03/23 06:35
I'm having a tuff time desciding on which monitor I should buy?
I am currently trying out the GATEWAY FPD2185W 21" widescreen.
Coming from a Samsung CRT 995DF 19", I think this Gateway is great for gaming. There's very little if any motion blur when playing games.
It has a 8ms. response time & the native Res. is 1680x1050.
As for the Dell, I never had the honor to try it out or see it in action. As for the specs on the Dell: 12ms. response time 1920x1200 max. & of course 24". Some reviews on the Dell says there is some motion blur as well. I'm wondering what the later model(2407FPW) which should be released later next month will be like? I heard it will boast lower response time but rumours suggest Dell might go with a 6-Bit panel as apposed to the 8-Bit on the 2405. Any 2405 owners? I'd like to hear your comments......please.
