Well that is about to change, with NEC joining the widescreen display market with the MultiSync LCD20WGX². I had an NEC monitor before, and it was great, so I am really looking forward to checking this one out.Initial specs are: Size/Type: 20" TFT Native Res: 1680x1050 Contrast Ratio: 700:1 Brightness: 470cd/m² H/V Viewing Angle: 178/178 Response Time: 6ms MSRP is €560 (about $670 USD), which is slightly more than most monitors this size (but still cheaper than Apple's 20") Looks like it coule be great! But I am a bit concerned about the color depth with such a fast response time... UPDATE This monitor is showing up in stores already! We have also added it to our Monitors Database. Here is a list of stores that sell it (it costs a little more than I had anticipated)
